The Archer guide bar dressing tool helps remove burrs from the bar rails and levels the bar rail to reduce chainsaw chain and bar wear. This dressing tool will help you remove normal wear and minor damage as it dresses your bar rail back to a 90-degree square edge. Even and smooth rails helps with longer chainsaw chain life, better lubrication, cutting and safety. Run the file perpendicularly to the bar rail when dressing the outer edges or the tops of the rails.
